E-mail Delivery Tips
With e-mail filters becoming an increasingly difficult challenge, we recommend reading through the suggestions below to help our messages reach your Inbox.

First things first
Below follows an overview of the steps to take:
  • Add and to your "Safe Senders List" or Address Book.
  • If you are using a commercial spam-filtering program, add and to the filter’s “white list”, if available.
  • If you find our messages or confirmations in your junk or spam folders, click the "Not Junk" or “Not Spam” button, if provided.
Below follows specific instructions for Microsoft Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo!Mail, Gmail, Webmail, Thunderbird and AOL. At the bottom of the page, we provide additional suggestions to try if all else fails.
  • Microsoft Outlook

    1. Click on the “Tools” button at the top of the page and select “Options”.
    2. On the Preferences tab, click on the “Junk E-mail” button.
    3. On the “Safe Senders” tab, click on the “Add” button.
    4. In the “Add” address, enter . Repeat this step for .
    5. Click on the “OK” button.

  • Hotmail

    New Leader.co.za Recipient:

    1. Click on the “Mail” button at the top of the page.
    2. Click on the “Options” button appearing in the upper right-hand corner.
    3. Click on the “Junk E-Mail Protection” option.
    4. Click on the “Safe List” option.
    5. Enter and click on the "Add" button. Repeat this step for .

    Existing Leader.co.za Recipients:

    1. If our messages are in your “Junk E-Mail” folder, open the e-mails and click on the “This is not Junk” or “Not Junk Mail” button.
    2. Next, go to your “Junk E-Mail Protection” options, as per the instructions above, and check to see if or is listed in your "Block Senders" list. If this is the case, select the applicable address and click on the "Remove" button. Then, click on the "OK" button.
    3. Lastly, add and to your “Safe List”, as per the instructions above.

  • Yahoo! Mail

    New Leader.co.za Recipient:

    1. Click on the “Mail” button at the top of the page.
    2. Click on the “Options” button appearing in the upper right-hand corner.
    3. Click on the “Filters” option.
    4. Click on the “Add” button.
    5. Next to the “From Address:” option, leave the drop down list as “contains” and enter into the adjacent text box.
    6. In the "Move the message to:" drop down list, select "Inbox".
    7. Click on the "Add Filter" button.
    8. Repeat steps 4 to 7 for .

    Existing Leader.co.za Recipients:

    1. If our messages are in your “Bulk” folder, open the e-mails and click on the “Not Spam” button.
    2. Next, click on the “Options” button appearing in the upper right-hand corner and then click on the “Block Addresses” option. If or is listed under the "Remove Block", select the applicable address and click on the "Remove Block" button.
    3. Lastly, set up a filter for and , as per the instructions above.

  • Gmail

    New Recipients:

    1. Click on the “Contacts” button appearing on the left-hand side of the page.
    2. Click on the “Add a Contact!” link or the “Create Contact” button.
    3. Enter to the "Primary Email:" text box and then click on the "Save" button. Repeat this step for .

    Existing Leader.co.za Recipients:

    1. If our messages are in your “Spam” folder (which appears on the left-hand side of the page), tick the check box next to the applicable message/s.
    2. Click the “Not Spam” button.

  • Webmail

    1. If Spam Filtering has been enabled, click on the “Spam Preferences” button at the top of the page.
    2. Under the “whitelist” option, enter and then click on the "Add New" button. Repeat this step for .
    3. If or appears under the “blacklist” option, select the applicable message/s and click on the “Remove Selected” button.

  • Thunderbird

    New Recipients:

    1. Click on the “Address Book” button at the top of the page.
    2. Click on the “Personal Address Book” option appearing on the left-hand side of the page.
    3. Click on the “New Card” menu button.
    4. Under the “Contact” tab, add to the "Email:" text box. Repeat this step for .
    5. Click on the “OK” button.

    Additionally, you can White List your Personal Address Book by following these steps:

    1. On the main menu, click on the “Tools” button.
    2. Click on the “Junk Mail Controls” option.
    3. Under the “Settings” tab, tick the “Do not mark messages as junk if the sender is in:” check box and select the “Personal Address Book” option from the drop down list.
    4. Click the “OK” button.

    Existing Leader.co.za Recipients:

    1. If our messages are in your “Junk” folder, right-click on the applicable e-mail/s, hover over the “Mark” option and then select the “As Not Junk” option.
    2. Lastly, add and to your Personal Address Book, as per the instructions above.

  • AOL

    New Leader.co.za Recipient:

    1. Click on the “Addresses” button at the top of the page.
    2. Click on the “New” menu button.
    3. Click on the “New Contact” option.
    4. Select the “Email 1” option from the “Preferred Email” drop down list.
    5. Add to the "Email 1:" text box
    6. Click on the "Save" button.
    7. Repeat steps 2 to 6 for .

    Existing Leader.co.za Recipients:

    1. If our messages are in your “Spam” folder, open the e-mail and when the dialogue box appears, click on the “This is Not Spam” button at the top of the page.
    2. Lastly, add and to your Addresses, as per the instructions above.
If all else fails
If you have tried the above suggestions/instructions and you are still not receiving our messages, please follow the additional steps below:
  • Try moving the applicable Leader.co.za message to your Inbox or forwarding the message to yourself.
  • Contact your Internet Service Provider and ask them if they have a “White List”. If they do, follow their instructions to add and .
  • If your Internet Service Provider has blocked our messages altogether, inform them that e-mail from and contains content that you have requested.
  • Ask your mail administrator or IT person for assistance.
If all of the above steps fail to do the trick, please provide us with a different e-mail address by updating your profile in Leader.co.za Central.
